Rigorous testing

Just like their predecessor, the original Ammique, our second generation beds passed FIRA testing with flying colours – so we can confidently offer a Lifetime Guarantee across the latest range.

Based on the standard BS EN 1725 1998 test requiring a force of 1000N repeated for only 10,000 cycles; we asked FIRA to carry out this standard bedstead edge (not mattress) test for 250,000 cycles – equivalent to a 16 stone (225 lbs) person jumping on the same spot continuously 250,000 times!

The test was carried out and completed by FIRA on the Ammique bed base sample as we specified. The surface recovered fully with no discernible wear or damage to any of the caps, rods and pushers, support bars, springs and support rods (and their fixing points).
