Giving guests a clean break

In these uncertain times when every guest is having to be fought over, it is no surprise that what the guest wants becomes a key factor in driving change. With safety at the forefront of their minds, guests are acutely aware of the importance of hygiene. At the very least they demand a clean space to sleep in and a clean bed to sleep on, for minimum risk to their health and wellbeing during their stay.

Understandably hoteliers want to protect and reassure their guests by providing them with beds that have been thoroughly disinfected, sanitized and cleaned; however, they know that mattresses are unsanitary (accumulating bodily fluids and millions of bacteria every stay) and that they cannot be deep cleaned after use.

Back in June, the hospitality industry announced that it was enhancing the experience for its guests by reviewing hygiene and managing guests’ personal wellbeing throughout their stay. At Ammique, we have always been ready to support this, by radically redefining bed cleanliness and partnering with the hospitality industry in ways not normally countenanced by the bed industry.

COVID has been a real leveller, creating a lot of anxiety about coming into contact with anything that others have used or touched. The mattress is one of the most extreme and intimate examples of this. The biggest change that could help hotels provide the critical reassurance guests now crave is to go mattress-free.

Hygiene has never been a more pressing issue for guests and hotels. Therefore, we invite hotels to put sleep safety at the heart of the problem and make Ammique central to the answer. By giving their guests the luxurious experience of sleeping on precision engineered, hygienic, mattress-free Ammique beds, hotels can secure a unique marketing position and deliver on their promises.
